The Duobond Iris repair bridge is an exclusive solution for professional automotive glass repair and combines injection, inspection, and UV curing in one integrated system. Thanks to the 360-degree rotating platform, the built-in UV LED lamp, and the internal rechargeable battery, the technician works faster, more clearly, and with maximum control.

Select by rotating

Iris significantly reduces the number of actions compared to traditional repair bridges. The bridge is firmly attached to the windshield of passenger cars or trucks in one motion with a 9.5 cm suction cup by simply turning the lever.

After attachment, the platform can be operated rotationally:

• Turn the injector to the side for visual inspection
• Position the magnifying glass to check for air inclusions in the resin
• Select the UV LED lamp for direct curing

Because the three tool holders are interchangeable, the system is future-proof and expandable with new future functionalities.

Energy-efficient & cordless operation

The integrated UV LED lamp operates completely wirelessly on an internal rechargeable battery. This increases the technician's freedom of movement and reduces the risk of paint damage caused by cables.

Thanks to the rotating design, the UV LED is always:

• At the correct distance from the glass
• With the correct radiation angle for optimal curing

Optimal curing of Duobond UV resin

During the development of Iris, the requirements of Duobond UV resin and Impact-filler were specifically taken into account. The chosen low UV wavelength and the optimized power design prevent heat buildup.

Preventing heat buildup is crucial:

• It prevents the refractive index from being negatively affected
• It prevents the visibility of the repair from increasing
• It prevents the shear strength from decreasing
• It prevents the chance of the glass cracking through from increasing

The integrated timer automatically switches off the UV LED after 60 seconds, minimizing energy consumption and time loss. After approximately 60 repairs, the lamp can be easily recharged with the included USB charging cable.

Iris is equipped with a unique pressure-limiting system that prevents the crack from being compressed or from cracking further during the repair.
