The punch / drift pin 1.0 mm can be used for the controlled opening of small cracks in automotive glass repairs. Due to its straight shape, this punch is particularly suitable for use on thicker glass, such as that of trucks and buses.
Application
After pre-drilling the impact point, the punch is placed in the drilled hole to create a small cavity in the glass in a controlled manner. This provides sufficient access for correct resin injection, without causing the crack to tear further unintentionally.
