The original Dutch repair resin from Duobond forms the basis for high-quality windshield repairs with lasting results. This resin is specially developed for repairing star cracks and chips in windshields by reconnecting the glass with the PVB layer.

The resin is supplied in a UV-resistant, sealed package to ensure consistent quality and stability.

Application in the repair process

When repairing a star crack, the Duobond UV resin is carefully injected into the damage to restore the structural connection between the glass and the PVB layer. After curing, the repair is ready to be finished with Duobond Impact-Filler, which seals the impact point on the surface. In combination with UV-curing foil and UV light, a smooth, transparent surface is created that visually and structurally matches the original glass.

Tested

The original Duobond resins have been tested and approved by renowned institutes such as BSi and MPA NRW. To this day, all resins are produced and tested in Duobond's own laboratory in the Netherlands. Each production batch is checked for quality, safety, and performance before being released for use.
