What this stone does!

No expensive replacements, but inexpensive repair
Millions of dollars were spent every year on replacement of windshields that incurred for instance a star or a bull's eye as a result of stone damage. During the past ten years this sum has decreased considerably thanks to the introduction of the Duobond^® system. This system makes it possible to carry out invisible repairs on more than three quarters of all windshields that were formerly indiscriminately replaced. This is done in barely half an hour.

The principle
With the Duobond^® system the windshield damage is repaired by means of specially developed equipment. Under high pressure the hole is filled with resin which is cured with the aid of UV radiation. Experience has shown that in this way more than 75% of all stone damages can be repaired. For repair, a standard procedure has been developed, a procedure which takes no longer than 30 minutes. This includes the time in which you could in fact do other work, as the resin is cured by means of UV radiation.
